I think that Hellen Keller means that we can do alot on our own, but united, we can do so much more. I do agree with the quote because sometimes you cant figure something out but if you work together, you could figure it out. I can make a connection to the quote. Today I couldn't do something on the computer and asked my brother to help me. Together we figured it out. In Repunzel, Repunzel couldn't get out and so when the prince came, he helped her out of the castle and so the prince and Repunzel worked together and figured out how to get out. Bella
ReplyDeleteWhen alone i can work harder, but together I think we get so much more done!! I think Helen Keller wqas right. I can figure cloring a page on my own would take an hour together it will take 20-30 minutes. I totaly agree with the quote because I like working in a group and getting lots done!! I figure that alone we are given smaller projects, in a group we are given larger projects I like the larger projects more! Also the are done faster!! I do not disagree one bit of this quote it is perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteKatey :)
(I'm adding to my other comment)
ReplyDeleteExampels:
When Mr. Increable was fighting a droid he beat it slowly, but when he had is family and Frozone it was easy. It was hard still but still easier!
To sell a product in a job it is easier to have the machine make it, mail it and you just sell it. It is a lot harder for you to make it and mail and sell it the only advantige is you get more money but you have to buy the stuff to make it! As a team it is not as difficult! :)
Katey
Great Discripsion Bella!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteKatey :)
I think that on your own you do alot but together we can make a great diffrents. Agree becuse you can change the world. I did a lemonade stand alone but then my brother and friend came and we eraned alot of money that day for a lemonade stand.
ReplyDeleteLouise
I think the quote means is you can't do much when your alone, but when you have many people, you can change the world. I agree with the quote because if you work together you can make big changes. For an example,if one person rode their bike to school everyday, it wouldn't change much. But if a million people did the same, it could make a huge difference.
ReplyDeleteRachel
Rachel, I love the idea that if we all do something, together we could make a huge difference! Hmm. I wonder if there's something we could do as a class that would make a positive impact in our community? Mrs. Schaffer
ReplyDeleteI think the quote means teamwork because you can do a lot more stuff together than alone. I agree with the quote because like in a football team the more you work together the much better and the more successful your team would be. At the begining of football last season we didn't do very well because we didn't work as a team. But at the end of the season we worked muched better as a team and won more games. Andy
ReplyDeleteI totaly agree with all of you. We can do more on a team! I fogured this out in 1st grade, when we worked on make a plant grow. It was easier to have someone to soil, someone else to water and to pick it. It is alsways harder alone...
ReplyDeleteI think that Helen Keller means that we can accoplish more together than we can alone. I agree with what Helen Keller said. Like with global warming,by yourself you can do so little, but with the help of your friends you can make a difference by changing the world.
ReplyDeleteAlso like on a softball team if you were the only fielder the chances of the other team getting on base in huge. But with eight other girls on the field the chance of them getting on base when they hit a ground ball is very small. Not like before, if they hit a ground ball with one fielder. If it is hit to the oppsite side of the field with one fielder the chance of the infielder getting tohe ball is very small. So that becomes a single, double, or triple.
Molly
I think that Helen Keller was saying was that just yo or me as a person cant do much but if every one joins together to help whatever it is their doing than we can really make a difference in that, and frankly i agree with her because if many people work together we all can make a difference
ReplyDeleteRachel your comment is very inspiring to me. And I agree that if a million people rode ther bike to school is would make a difference.
ReplyDeleteMolly
I agree because two people can do more than one person. Plus teamwork can get you further. I was working by myself and helped me and I finished twice as fast. I know that Hellen Keller is correct.
ReplyDeleteRithvik
I think what Helen Keller is trying to say is that people could a lot more of work done together than alone. for example like Andy said I once was once on a soccer team that didn't work together at ALL. Next season our team worked together and we won all but 1 game. Also our table gets a lot more done working together than alone. In the MOVIE JAWS the people have to unite and find a certain dangerous shark and capture it.
ReplyDeleteAnirudh
I agree with Hellen Keller because one person can a lot but more than one can do even more. Like if there was only one person on each team in soccer the chances of a goal are higher. Taylor
ReplyDeleteI agree with Hellen Keller because when you work as a team you can get alot acomplished. In my table group in the classroom when there is a math problem that we don't get we work together and figure it out.
ReplyDeleteSorry I forgot to put my name
ReplyDeleteI agree with Helen Keller because whn you work as a team you can get alot acomplished. In my table group in the classroom if someone doesn't get we work together and figure it out
Eric
Sorry again if someone doesn'get a problem we work together to together to figure it out.
ReplyDeleteEric
I think the quote means you need more people to get more work done and that makes a big diference. I agree with the quote. My brother and I work together to do our chores so then we go outside to play faster. Ryan
ReplyDeleteWe have a hard time doing something big alone. But togather you can make a good team. I agree because I want to help the homeless, but I can't do it all by myself. If lots of people help a little bit then it will help a lot more homeless people.
ReplyDeleteBobby
I do better with other people too. If I made a lemonade stand I would definetly go faster if there was more people, we would make more money to share too. I agree with the quote because at scool when I work alone its more challenging, but when our group works together, and when we help eachother it gets done a lot quicker. I think the quote means that when you work together you just need to know that maybe you can get a lot done if you really try.
ReplyDeleteBrooke
whoops! I spelt school wrong!
ReplyDeleteBrooke
I have to say one more thing,
ReplyDeleteWhen you work alone you can get a lot done but, if you form a group, even if your only working on one problem you could get the one little thing done quicker. I think Helen Keller means that if you get the oppertunity to work in a group on something, don't miss the chance.
Brooke
i think hellen keller was trying to say apart is
ReplyDeleteokay but a group is better
i forgot my name dana
ReplyDeletesorry again i agree with hellen bescase a group can acieve more Dana
ReplyDeleteI agree with hellen Kellerbecause if you work together you can achieve more than when you work indavidualy.I have an expieriance of my own. Once when you told us to work on a cirtain page and I got stuck on a problem and my group helped me out.I completly agree. you are way more powerful together then you are alone. Anna
ReplyDeleteAwsome description Anna! I love how you said it!

ReplyDeleteI think the quote” Alone we can do so little but together we can do so much” means I can do a lot on my own, but with the help from others, or working as a team, we can do much more. I agree with the quote. Once my friend dropped a lot of papers on the ground. I helped her to pick it up, so together we did it much faster.
ReplyDeleteWe can achieve a lot by working alone, but in some projects we could accomplish much more by doing it together.
Michelle
I think it means that we should work together more. I agree because you cant win a war alone but with a team you can. Once I was billding a tree house in the woods and I needed help holding a board I asked my brother to help me and I finished it .
ReplyDeletePeter
I think this quote is telling you can do something alone but together you can do more. I really liked how Helen Keller use feelings in her quote. People should think about this befor working alone. Katie
ReplyDeleteI think Hellen Keller is right and it aplies to the real world because one voice is loud but a million is much louder. I think the quote means together we can change the world but by our selves it will be much harder. I agree and dissagree with what Hellen Keller said because if you want to become movie star you have to follow your heart and go with what you think is right and if you keep trying dreams and hopes come true.
ReplyDelete-Sara
I think the quote means that when you are alone it is much harder to make a big accomplishment but when you work as a team it becomes easier and easier. I agree with Hellen Keller's quote because when you are alone, you only have one brain , one way of thinking, and one strategy. However, when you are together, you can share your ideas and find an even better way to do it. In real life, Helen Keller had a tough situation with bieng death, blind, and mute. This left her almost helpless on her own, but with her helper, Anne, she left the wohole world shocked at what she could do.
ReplyDeleteMegan
I think that Helen Keller is right because my mom all ways says two heads are better than one!!!I have experince to. Like if you dribble a basketball down a court and none of your teammates arre there to help you.If there are more defenders than there are of you it will be hard to score. I agree with Katey because of her example it made me think harder and deeper.
ReplyDeleteExample::
Just think if Mrs.Schaffer was the only 5th grade teacher she would have a lot of kids to teach.
Chandler
I think it means that it is hard to work alone. but if we do it together and use teamwork than we can do anything. For example when your playing football and none of your blockers make a block the running back won't be able to score
ReplyDeleteTanner
I think the quote means that we can acheive more as a team.
ReplyDeleteTogether
Everyone
Acheives
More
President Roosevelt couldn't stop the great depression on his own. He put everyone to work to build dams, roads, building that all provided services and jobs. without the help of the people, we could not have made are economy stronger.
That was an example of the quote in real life.
Bennett:)
i think he means if you work as a team you can get much farther then going at it alone.i agree with this and am amazed it is so true and i definitly say that its the truth. it simply is a good way t say work together and you get things done in a better way!
ReplyDelete-Sara
I agree with the quoet becuse I had life example a couple of times. I thik that the quoet means alone you can't do much but together you can do a lot. One of the life exampels that I had is when we cleaned my room.
