A team is made up of more than one person and they have to work together. If it is just one person they can not win every game on their own. When you work in a group everybody needs to do their part to help the team out. When you do a tug o war a really strong person still needs other people on his team.

Well I think that it means that when u have talent in something like say you are playing a video game if you are pretty good video games than you could pass the first level but if you are smart and it is more than a 1 player game than if you let someone play the game with you you will be able to complete that game. Honestly i do beileive that because I play a computer game that's called runescape and I was doing a quest and wasn't able to finish it so I asked mike to help me with it and I completed it in only 10min.
ReplyDeleteI think the quote means you can do some things on your own, but when you work together, you can accomplish bigger things. I agree with the quote because once, I was stuggling on a SAGE problem, and my dad helped me and we figured it out together.

I think Michael Jordan is trying to say that when we work as a team and agree than you can go farther than when you work alone in one talent.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Michael Jordan because when you are in a team and when you work together well you can go farther.
When I get stuck on a problem my group helps me out.
Dana
I think Michael Jordan is right because if I wanted to win a game and it was just me i coud win the game, but if i wanted to win and I had a really good team i could win the championship.

I agree with Micheal Jordan completely. I think this quote means that even if you are the best player on your team your you shouldn't brag about being so good. But also that even if you are the best player on the team everyone is just as important as you are.
ReplyDeleteLike on a soccer team, if you try to dribble all the way down and you are amazing at dribbling. Even though you are an amazing dribbler either the defender, midfielder,or the offender will take the ball from you and dribble or pass to someone on there team on your side of the field. Then they would shot and score. But also you gave up chance tfor your team to score.
But when you have eight other people on the field even if four of them are bad, earlier when the dribbled down the field instead of the ball being taken from you, you would make a pass an then your other teammate would shot and..
SCORE!!!!

I agree completely with Mihal Jordan. it's cind of like a football team. in order to score a touchdown you have to pass to each other and work as a team. If you try to score a touchdown by yourself your brobably going to get tackled but if you cooperate with your team it will be better.

I think that Michael Jordan ment that you cant just work by youself all the time, sometimes there is something you CANT do it by yourself. You need to do it as a team. As in sometimes
ReplyDeleteI need to ask my dad for help and after we work together and figure it out, we get the answer.
I totally agree with him, I sometimes really need help with my homework and then I ask my dad and then we get the answer. That is team work. Then, I'm not there all night wondering what the answer is and then not getting any sleep. By asking for help, I got the homework done and I get some sleep. Bella
I agree with Bobby on his tug of war example. I make a really good anchor in tug of war because of my weight. but without other people on my team to pull, I can't win the game.
ReplyDeleteI think the quote means that you can't dominate on your own.
I agree with this quote because I've experienced this in real life. During an airsoft war, I was fighting as a one man team. I was covered in welts and probably wouldn't have survived 5 more minutes if one of the kids on the other team hadn't switched over to my side. We started to conquor, attacking the other side one kid at a time until we won.

I think that Michal Jordan means that as a team, you can do more than by yourself. I have had this experence too. I was at my soccer game and I realized it took all of us to make a goal. Not Just me or Sarah now I always work as a tem in my sports!!!! I went to a gymnastics meet and saw that girls won thier medals as a team they won more medals than alone! It was astonishing!

I agree with Micheal Jorden because he was a great player without his teamates he would not do to good. I think it means some teamwork wins little but a lot of teamwork wins it all. When lets say in football for me I do not get the ball to much and normally my team loses. Normally everyone is covered execpt me they take chances of a interception but if they pass to me there is no chance of a interception .
ReplyDeleteRithvik
Micheal Jordon is correct because he was a great player but by himself he couldn't win. For example in soccer if one person hogged the ball all the time they couldn't win against a whole team. Taylor
ReplyDeleteI agree with Micheal Jordan and I think he is trying to say that having talent isn't enough to do something. It helps if everyone heplps in something thean letting one person do all the work. I agree with the quote and a connection would be when I was doing my science project in 4th grade. I was doing okay by myself but I asked my Mom and Dad to help me out and I got done a lot quicker.

Spelled HELPS wrong!

I agree with Micheal Jordan that talet loses but teamwork wins.I worked on a sicence problem for the science fair but then Jill joined and it went to be good.
ReplyDeleteLouise
Michel jordan is saying that u can win a game by bein an all star but u need teamwork to win a championship because u could get the ball and beat the other team but in a championship the other team will be just as good as you and you need a whole team to win a championship Tanner
ReplyDeleteI think the quote means that everybody’s talent wins one game, but if you put them all together you will win a championship. I agree with the quote because once I was playing basketball with my friend and her brother, we won against her dad and her other brother because we had more people on our team. If I had played alone against her family, I would have lost.
ReplyDeleteMichelle
I think that if you work together you can accomplish more.
ReplyDeleteI agree because you cant win a football game alone but with a team you can. I dont really have a connection to the quote. Peter
I think that the quote means that with talent you could win a game but when you work together wisely you could win a championship. I agree with Michael Jordan because I was on a basketball team and when we worked together we would always win.
ReplyDeleteElena
I think what Michael Jordan was trying to say was that, if you just play with your talent and not use your teamates you won't end up winning alot. I do agree with the quote because you could never do a good job with out people helping you. A connection I have is that I've been playing soccer and I could never win a game with out my teamates.
ReplyDeleteAlexa
I think the quote means that you can be really good and win a bunch of games against people who aren't as good, but when you have a team to help you score a goal or whatever you are trying to do, you can go alot farther. I agree with the quote even though I think you do need talent and practice to win a game too. I agree because it would be really hard to win a game without anyone to help you when you are having a hard time or mess up. In basketball, that would be one on five and the person alone wouldn't have anyone to pass it to or get the rebound or help you when you are stuck. Talent is a big factor, but you couldn't do much without a team or companion.
ReplyDeleteMegan
I think he meens that if you work alone you can win but if you wortk as a team you can win more.
ReplyDeleteEric
I think the quote means you can win one game but you need a whole team to win the championships.
ReplyDeleteAndy
The quote means you can win one game, but together you can win a championships.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add my name. Katie
ReplyDeleteIf only one person wins a game it will take an entire team to win everything. You need about 20 people to be a sports team.
